General - Amilya is a conventionally beautiful woman. She has a heart shapes face with delicate features, high cheekbones and large eyes.
Build - A woman of curves, Amilya has an hourglass figure, with her hips as wide as her chest and her waist slim. She does have quite wide hips and a good sized bust.
Skintone - Born in the mountainous region of Telgar, Amilya has the paler skintone which is common to the people of the Blood there. As a healer, she spends a lot of time working indoors in the infirmary, which has helped to maintain the light tone of her skin. Though she loves the outdoors, she is always careful about her skin.
Scars - Though she has all the usual minor childhood scars, Amilya's skin is otherwise relatively unblemished. She does have a few scars, but they are minor things, picked up during the course of working her craft or the occasional scrape during the course of her explorations and adventures.
Hair - A thick black bob, Amilya's hair is well tended to. It's cut to frame her face, hanging to mid-cheek in length.
Eyes - A pretty pale grey, Amilya's gaze is complimented by her long dark eyelashes.

Clothing - Amilya likes to dress well. She rarely seen turned out in anything that doesn't make her look good. Given the family to which she was born, Amilay is accustomed to wearing clothing that is well made and tailored just for her. While such cloths are more expensive than something bought pre-made, she has learned that good clothing will more than pay for itself over time.
Personality:
Forceful - Amilya is like a force of nature, put a rock in her path and she'll simply flow right on past it. Ami has a bad tendency not to notice when people are trying to get in her way and just barge on through with what ever she was doing. Objectors tend to get bowled over and ignored unless they present themselves with enough force of their own to catch Amilya's attention. She doesn't like being told that she cant not do something and Amilya had been known to deliberately go out and get involved in things she shouldn't simply because they are not things which 'good girls' get up to.
Flirty - Amilya has never been shy about herself and desires. If she likes you, she'll let you know, and she's not always subtle about it either. She can be a terrible tease, but Amilya has standards and a sense of honour about her. She'll never go after someone who she knows is already taken, and she always makes it clear what she's expecting from someone if she lets them into her bed.
Self-confident - A veritable font of self-confidence, Amilya firmly believes in herself and her ability to do anything she sets her mind to.
History:
Age 0
- Amilya is born to Amiron, steward and brother to the Lord of Telgar Hold, and his wife Lyanna, a journeywoman healer. Amilya is their second child and second daughter. Her sister Amianna is pleased to have a sister, but their father is disappointed not to have a son. He gets over it though and is soon happy to have another child running around the holding.
Age 2
- Amilya's sister, Roanna, is born.
Age 10
- When she is asked what she wants for her birthing day this turn, Amilya tells her family that she wants a firelizard. To her great surprise, when the day comes, she is presented with a real live firelizard egg. She fusses over it constantly until the day it hatches. Ami names her new silverlight friend Luna.
Age 12
- Amilya takes up an apprenticeship as a healer, following in her mother's footsteps. The local Master is happy to take her in on the strength of her mother's reputation.
- To celebrate her acceptance, Amilya's parents present her with a firelizard egg. The egg hatches a brown, whom Ami names Vau.
Age 14
- Amilya's master sends her to the main Healer Hall in Fort. It is her first time outside of the immediate area around Telgar Hold and Amilya is fascinated by the slowly changing landscape and by the people of the Trader Caravan she is travelling with.
- Amilya meets her first dragon, a blue whose rider is visiting family at the Craft Hall. She has a very pleasant conversation with him, completely unaware of how unusual it is.
Age 18
- Amilya walks the tables to journeywoman status. Her first assignment is to Black Sands Weyr.
- Surrounded by dragons for the first time in her life, Amilya begins to learn that she can do more than simply talk to dragons who are willing to listen. With so much psychic chatter going on around her it becomes obvious that Amilya is a H.A.D, someone who can hear the dragons around them speaking as clearly as any human voice.
- Given her ability, it was perhaps inevitable that someone would insist that Amilya begin standing for impression. Fortunately, Ami is quite amenable to the idea and she settles easily into the life of a candidate.
- Though she learns to block out the flights of the smaller dragons, Amilya finds herself being unusually effected by the flights of queen dragons, her sensitively to the psychic currents of dragon-kind working against her when it comes to mating-need.
Age 20
- With the death of the Sr Weyrwoman and her Weyrleader, all eyes have turned to Auralina and her ebony Destinith. Amilya watches the pair, keeping a mental ear out for the larger males of the weyr, whose sensitivity to their queen might provide her advance warning of when the flight will happen.

IC: Why? Amilya sees herself as a queen rider. She is of the blood after all and while she might not have been in the line of inheritance, her father made sure she had the same education and training that her cousins of the direct line did.

OOC: Why? I'm not going to lie and say that I wouldn't like to see her on a queen, but Amilya's an adaptable sort and I have no doubts that she'll find a way to make herself useful and indispensable to the weyr no matter where she ends up.

Why do You Deserve One? It seems rather arrogant to assume worthiness but I can say that I am very loyal, will always do my best by this site and my fellow members and shall do my utmost to remain active whether or not Amilya impresses to a queen. I will always try to let people know if I'm going to be gone for a period of time, and my friends have standing orders to make contact with my roleplaying groups if something happens to keep me from my computer and unable to make an LOA myself.

Luna is a rather pretty little silverlight. She sits at the smaller end of the size pectrum, making her quite a small creature. Combined with her slender figure and refined features, Luna has quite a delicate look about her. Like most silverlights, Luna's wings fold up along her back rather than being held against her sides.
In her colour Luna is a typical silverlight in shimmering blacks and greys. She has a particularly dark base colour, with a very slightly lighter shade marking her pinions and wingsails. The bright silver markings which are common to all of her colour mark each spinal ridge, her claws and toes, and the tip of her tail.

Vau is a fairly heavy set firelizard. His powerful muscles sit on a frame which is built to hold them, giving him a look of strength without exaggerating his musculature. He has a thick, wedge shaped head, with a heavy blunt muzzle and wide headknobs. He has quite a large wingspan and his wings sit a little awkwardly upon him at times, for they are longer and wider than is average for a creature of his size.
