General - Overall, Ahnkaylo looks far more like his sire than his dam. He has the same tall and broad shouldered build, though he carries a bit more muscle than his sire does, thanks to his chosen craft.
Build - Being a smith has some advantages and Ahnkaylo, having a figure which tends towards easily putting on muscle, has quite an impressive form.
Skintone - Ahnkaylo spends a lot of his time outdoors and as a result he has a nice tanned skintone. Scattered over much of him are darker freckles.
Eyes - Ahnkaylo has his sire's greyish toned green shade of iris.
Hair - Ahnkaylo has his dam's hair colour. It sits somewhere between a shade of honey blonde and a honey brown. Ahnkaylo wears his hair fairly long, falling to brush the line of his shoulders. Usually he keeps it pulled back into a warriors tail.
Scars - Ahnkaylo has a few noticeable scars. His hands and forearms have a few speckled burns on them from his work in the forge, as well as a few kitchen accidents.
Body Dominance - Ambidexterous
Clothing - Ahnkaylo dresses simply. He prefers plain colours and minimal decoration on this clothing, though he does have a few more 'fancy' things for feastings and gather days.
Personality:
Open minded - With the family that he has, it is little wonder than Ahnkaylo is a man who is very accepting of the lives and personal choices of other people.
Stress Feeder - Given the occupations and personalities of his Pa and his foster-mother, it comes a a surprise to few that, despite his choice to become a smith, Ahnkaylo is a quick hand when it comes to cooking. Or that, when stressed, he is as likely to come to the kitchens to make food to sooth his feelings as he is to go to the forge and work through his feelings with hard physical labour. Ahnkaylo is a stress feeder. That is, when stressed, he has a tendency to fuss over people and push food upon them. For some reason, making food and then seeing people eat it relaxes him, perhaps soothing a need to feel useful and as though he is providing something towards the well being of those he cares about.
Dexterous - Ahnkaylo likes to keep his hands busy. He's often found fiddling with things, braiding strips of cloth or twisting pieces of wire into shape. he often carries string in his pocket and occupies his hands with a game of cats cradle when he has nothing else to do with them.
History:
Pre Birth
- A'mia and M'kay were long time sweethearts. Both born and raised within the weyr, they had known each other since childhood, though only vaguely. Candidacy brought their first real chance to get to know each other and they became friends. A distance grew when Anmia impressed blue Mysticth, though Mhkaylo was chosen by green Munnath in the very next hatching. During this time of distance, M'kay fell in love with another man, the man whose brown won Munnath's first flight. When the man suffered a fatal fall from the weyr stairs, A'mia was there to comfort M'kay. He revealed to the green rider his greatest secret, he had been born a woman. Repaired friendship slowly grew to love and eventual weyrmating. It was not long after that a persistent illness which A'mia had been suffering was revealed by the healers to be a case of pregnancy.
Age 0
- The birth of their first child was a great joy to M'kay and A'mia. M'kay's romantic preference for men had once had him thinking he would never be a father, while A'mia had once despaired of finding someone he trusted enough to give himself to. Ahnkaylo was treasured from his first moments, and though, like so many weyr children, he was handed over to a foster mother, his parents were both a strong and constant presence in his life.
Age 1
- Ahnkaylo's brother, Ahnkol, is born. Like Ahnkaylo, he is given to a foster mother, but their parents make sure that they know each other.
Age 2
- A'mia breaks his arm and is grounded while it heals. During this time, he falls pregnant for the third time.
- Ahnkaylo's sister, Mhiakay, is born.
Age 3
- Ahnkaylo's sister, Kaymia, is born
Age 5
- Ahnkaylo begins his learning turns. He proves himself to be his father's son as he takes eagerly to the teaching of the harper.
Age 12
- Ahnkaylo takes up an apprenticeship as a smith

- Ahnkaylo begins standing as a candidate

- Ahnkol impresses to Dusk Torrinath. He chooses A'ko as his new name.

- Keayla falls pregnant. Ahn is incredibly nervous about the thought of being a father, but it does not once enter his mind that joy being a part of his child's life is an option. Being raised as much by his birth parents as by his foster mother, the importance of family has always been made clear to him, as well as being responsible for the lives which you bring into the world.

- Like all the other candidates Ahnkaylo watches ebony Destinith with eager anticipation for her maiden flight and a new clutch for the damaged weyr.

IC: What Colors Do You Wish to Impress? Any
IC: Why? Ahkaylo isn't really picky about what he impresses. He's grown up surrounded by the common colours and like most youngsters, he's had dreams of riding the larger colours.
OOC: What Colors Do You Wish Them to Impress? Any
OOC: Why? Ahnkaylo is someone who I can see fitting pretty comfortably onto a dragon of pretty much any colour.
Are You Okay With Mauling? Go for it, Ahn could use some scars.
If So, to What Degree? Scars and/or broken bones are all good. I'd rather he didn't actually loose any body parts or end up permanently crippled.

Corra is not some light and delicate little green lady. In fact, she's got a rolly-polly sort of a figure, as though she never quite grew out of her hatchling chubbiness. Her wings seem a little too large for her small figure and her paws seem a little to big. Her tail is quite long, making her neck seem short in comparison, though it is in fact a quite normal length compared to her body.
In terms of her colouring, Corra is a vibrant shade of yellow toned green, with a much paler underbelly. The same paler shade marks the underside of her wings and the inside of each leg, while a darker shade forms a strip down the back of her neck, ending between her shoulder joints.
