General - Though his age is starting to show in his silvered hair and the lines which mark his face, L'eon's appearance is still that of a man whose prime is not far behind him. He maintains a high level of physical activity and it shows in a figure which has been kept well past when other men his age are starting to deteriorate.

Height - Standing at six feet and two inches in his bare feet, L'eon is a man who makes an impression.

Build - Standing strong even as his years continue to advance, L'eon is a man with a build intended for power.

Skintone - Weathered by a lifetime spent outside in all types of weather, L'eon's skin maintains a now permanent tan.

Scars - A man of L'eon's inclinations would be expected to have a number of scars and L'eon is one who certainly holds to this rule.

Hair - L'eon keeps his hair cropped short. This is partially practicality, for his hair needs little maintenance and fits easily under a riding cap, and partially a type of mental inertia as he had worn his hair in the same manner for the majority of his life. Though it was once a solid black, L'eon's hair has gone a steady iron grey.

Personality:

Gruff - L'eon isn't a man who does well with emotion. He's a bit rough around the edges and he's not particularly good when it comes to expressing his feelings.

Kind - Though he might seem a touch prickly, L'eon is a man with a kind heart. He hates seeing others in pain, and has a particularly powerful soft spot for children.

On Naming - L'eon is not someone who should ever be allowed to name anything. He tends to have a rather literal mind about such things and thus we end up with situations like 'Cat' the cat. It is only due to the interference of family that his firelizards have actual name-like names.

History:
Pre Birth
- Lyveon and Amiee are holders within the borders of South Boll Hold. They already have one child, a son named Aimeon. The birth of their second child, and second son, is a celebrated occasion for the small family.

- Lymei falls prey to a common childhood illness. Though his parents take her to the main holding for the care of a healer, Lymei does not recover.

- To celebrate his acceptance, as well as provide him a way of staying in touch, Lyveonaim's parents save up to purchase him a Firelizard egg. It is presented to him shortly before it is due to hatch.
- Lyveonaim's egg hatches into a ruby female. With Liam's help, Lyveonaim names her Zoe.

- Aimeon is married to a young woman by the name of Tehira. Lyveonaim receives permission from his commander to attend the wedding.

Appearance:
Cat is a big beast of a feline. He has a heavy sturdy body with long legs and a very long tail. His fur is very thick and fluffy, giving him an appearance of being even larger than he actually is. His coat is a mid grey with dark smoky grey stripes in a classic tabby pattern. He has white over his muzzle, and down his neck and belly, and white toes.

Personality:
Many folks would not think L'eon the type to keep a feline as a pet, and they would be right. It is not so much that L'eon keeps Cat, as that Cat keeps L'eon. He moved into L'eon's weyr while still a kitten and has stubbornly refused any attempts to get him to move out again. He is an excellent mouser, keeping L'eon's rooms free of all types of small vermin. Cat is quite a vocal creature, always happy to make his opinion known. He is always very affectionate, and willing to demand attention when he wants it. When he's not hunting, Cat can seem to be a lazy beast, for he loves to curl up and nap in warm places.

So, as much as I like how this character is coming along, the sheer AMOUNT of family he has, especially at the Weyr, is not probable. Pregnancy is not a constant thing, and femaleriders take major precautions to ensure that it doesn't occurr, due to it grounding them. And more often than not, they choose to abort if they do fall pregnant.

Apart from the three with his weyrmate (Of whom only two have survived), all of L'eon's kids have different mothers, most of whom are non-riders. I'd been thinking that on their mother's side their likely all singles (especially in the case of the ones with riders for mothers), or one of maybe two or so. With L'eon's siblings, their all holders, so I was holding to the ideal they have that a woman should be having as many children as she can for the benefit of the hold, which is why there are so many of them. With L'eon's grandchildren, I've tried to put a gap of at least a couple of years between each one, specifically so that their not constantly pregnant.

I've pulled his youngest kids and I can pull some of the others if you really want me to, but I thought it rather fitting that he has a number of kids from different mothers, since he is both quite sexually active and has trouble with romantic commitment (especially since Adeline died), resulting in most of his parings being short term but very active flings. The ones I list are just the ones with some particular meaning to him, specifically the ones who had a child and kept it.

My only thing is that he appears to have a child every two years or so. As a rider, even with such an active lifestyle, the chances of that, especially with so many different women, just are, as a general rule, so SMALL. If there was maybe a gap of four to five years, I'd believe it, but two? I do like him, don't get me wrong. I'm just trying to think of the realities of Weyrlife as Anne claimed it to be here.
