Appearance: Her hair has color that rivals the sun, mixed in with slightly darker hues of brown and almost gray which softens it as it falls about her face and down just past her shoulders. It's accompanied by bright blue eyes that are wide and inviting, with classic features that one cannot describe any other way but beautiful. Her body is petite, her skin so pale and unblemished that it almost glows in certain light, and she stands only at about 5'3". Her sweetly bowed lips are nearly always curved into a smile that comes from her soul. She projects an air of innocence that is a truly innate part of herself. It shines out of her eyes and infuses her features with a sweetness rarely seen in the world.


Personality: Krystena is a very sweet person. She has a habit of believing the best in everyone she comes across, and there are definitely times that it gets her in trouble. She is incredibly naive about men. She hasn't had a lot of experience with them and when she does speak to them she thinks they only have the purest of intentions towards her. She makes friends very easily for people can't help but smile when she's around. She is rarely in a bad mood, but when she is, its best to avoid her for she lashes out in a manner completely at odds with her normal demeanor. She is protective of her sister and her friends, and is the first one to speak up in defense of them. Because of her naivete people upon occasion mistake her for being slightly slow. That is a big mistake. She is incredibly smart, just very trusting. Her mind is best put to use in navigating people, able to talk people down from arguments flawlessly, as well as steering them in a direction she feels would be more beneficial. She rarely uses this ability for her own gain, however, usually reserving it for those times when a greater purpose is needed. She loves to sing, it's a hobby of hers, but she is very shy about her voice and only sings in front of her close friends. 


History: Both her parent's are Healers and are at work more than is strictly necessary. Healing to them was a calling. That's how they had met, and to be honest, they only got married because of practicality. Each regarded the two pregnancies as highly inconvenient for Savanna had to stay home and couldn't carry her normal workload for not only the nine months it took to carry each child, but also the first year after until she was able to leave them with another to raise. To make up for not being at home, they let Krystena and her sister do just about anything they want. They loved their children, but neither had been cut out to be parents. Although they had a Healer's heart, for some reason it extended only to their patients, and rarely any further. The two girls accepted this fact in very different ways. Instead of going out and meeting up with every boy in the Hold like her sister, Krystena spent most every night at one of her friend's houses. Her friends surrounded her with the warmth and love she really only got from them. Her sister is older than her by three years and is almost never around, choosing to spend her days flitting about. Krystena always felt like Hanna used boys to give her the affection she felt was missing from her parents. Oftentimes Hanna would only return home to demand something from her parents on the off chance they were there. When they were younger they would often try to get in touch with their parents, but after a series of returned letters they both gave up. It took Krystena much longer than it did Hanna, for Hanna carried the burden of anger and resentment much more firmly than her sweet younger sister did. Krystena was sad to leave her friends, and even her sister when she was searched, and even went so far as to try a letter to her parents telling them what had happened, but she didn't hesitate. The idea of having a dragon who would be so Bonded to her, who would care and love her as much as she knew she would care and love, made the transition to the Weyr much easier for Krystena. She knew somehow that this was going to lead her to her destiny, and she was eager to begin meeting new people and seeing where Fate decided to take her.

The idea of being a DragonRider is enough for me. Whichever dragon thinks me worthy enough for him/her is all I need.

Krystena is the kind of character that can get along with any personality, and will learn and grow from any of the Colors.

Why do You Deserve One?
This character has been a Queenrider before, and of all of the characters I have ever played I think she is the most natural fit for the role. I am online nearly every day, respond quickly to posts, and know what it takes to have an important role in the Weyr.
Are You Okay Not Impressing One?
Absolutely. As I said, I know Krystena and she is very easily adaptable to any dragon.
