Name: V'nel
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Birthingday: Month 6, day 12
Lifestyle Choice: straight
Rank: Bronzerider
Job: Wingrider
Appearance: V'nel has a larger build. He is very tall standing at just over 6 ft, and with the bulkier build rather than a reed thin one. He is broad shouldered and is well muscled, as he is used to hard physical work. His hair is a light red-blond color , and he keeps it cropped to only a few inches long. His face is strong of feature, though his face can look half chiseled and is too blunt for true handsomeness. His eyes are dark green, and slightly beady. His arms are thick and roped with muscle leading into large hands that are fine fingered.
Personality: V'nel is one of those gentle giant types. despite his appearance, he wouldn't hurt a fly, unless that fly threaten him or his friends/family. He is a respectable, yet commanding type, able to earn respect and loyalty quickly as he is also willing to listen and receive input from others.
While he isn't shy, he doesn't really talk much, preferring to listen and observe. He won't hesitate to speak up if needed, and will chastise if someone is in the wrong. He discovered he had an excellent head for strategy in his weyrling days, and though he is just a wingrider for now, he hopes to move up to Wingsecond, or even become a wingleader in the future.
He can be a bit intimidating if you judge by his looks, and so he hasn't had very many relationships. Lendalth has chased a couple of lesser females, so V'nel does have experience with women, he just hasn't ever formed a real relationship. He is a very loving fellow, and can be great around children. He is pretty sure he doesn't have any running around the Weyr, but as he hasn't kept up with his partners, he isn't sure.

History: V'nel was born Vaynel in Black Sands hold, to a pair of Miners. He was raised from a young age to follow his parents in mining, and as soon as he was old enough, he was hard at work chiseling stone from the rock.
He never joined the Miner craft, not having any interest in any of the details behind the mining he did. He was perfectly content to muscle his way through.
When he was 17, a dragon came from the Weyr to pick up a shipment. Vaynel was just getting off of his shift, and the dragon made a point of getting in his way, sniffing and staring at the young man. His rider came jogging over at a silent call, and explained that his dragon deemed him Rider material.
After gaining permission, Vaynel moved to the Weyr and stood for the clutch. A young bronze broke shell and beelined towards him. Impression was made and V'nel took on his new name and role.
Weyrling training wasn't too hard and he made it through easily. He graduated to a Full Rider and settled into his role as a Bronze rider.
He was lucky to be out of the Weyr when the hunters attacked and killed. He came back to the devastation and turmoil, grieving privately, while putting up a brave face. He knows the Queen is due to Rise soon and he intends to try and catch her, as he feels he could be a good WeyrLeader if he gets the chance.
Dragon's Name: Lendalth

Dragon's Parentage: Gold x Bronze
Dragon's Appearance: Lendalth is a very light bronze, almost coppery shade all over, with some slight darkening on his extremities. the only other marking is a stripe of dark bronze that follows his body, from the tip of his nose, over his back and down to the fork at the end of his tail. He is a little on the small side for a bronze, but still plenty big.
Dragon's Personality: He is a very quiet dragon, rarely talking to even his own rider. But when he does open his mouth, metaphorically thinking, he is still very consise, but usually manages to be understood.
